McDonalds Mexican Cheesy Fries Review

McDonalds Mexican Cheesy Fries is an ultimate treat for fries lovers. The yellow cheese sauce dripped over the lazily lying fries will make you drool. The mexican salsa over the cheese sauce gives that chunky taste with fries making you wish for more of those fries.

Considering it as a side dish for McDonalds eaters, a tray of Mexican Cheesy French Fries can be shared by 2. But if you intend to pounce over just the fries, then you deserve to have the whole of it. Along with this fries, McDonalds offers Mexican Aloo Tikki and Lebanese Aloo Tikki burger. For foodies, who do not miss out single launch of dishes or restaurants, all three will be a boon.

Well, that was a lot of praises. Personally, I am not a fan of fries. For this combination of salsa and cheese sauce with fries, I would give a thumbs up, something you can probably try at least once, may be through McDelivery. After all, the crunchy fries of McDonalds has not yet found anyone to compete with.

China Gate Chinese Restaurant Review, MIDC, Andheri East

Located at a prime location, China Gate has the ultimate advantage of attracting customers, but sadly it fails to do so. The service and food quality, both needs sky touching improvements.

On entering the restaurant, I was escorted to a comfortable table. Surprisingly, at the 14th hour of the day, there were just 4-5 tables occupied out of the available 20-25 of them. I soon got to know the reason behind it.

So I opted for lunch buffet. The Chinese cuisine offered by the restaurant has variety. But the quality also could have been much better. Cold chicken and fish starters would be the last thing a foodie would like to have. Who serves soup and starter together? Keep at least a 2 min delay before serving the starter. Absence of buffet menu, crooked fork, air conditioning put off even when there are customers having food were some more turn offs. The drinks menu was offered 20 minutes after I had started. Well, the cons are endless! Bill took more than 10 minutes to arrive. Only spoon and fork given. How was I expected to eat dumplings without a knife along with the fork?



A complete disastrous meal. Apart from the cold food, all dishes tasted fine except the chicken lemon coriander soup. Soup needs improvement.

I wonder how this place is running with such bad management and service; possibly because of the less choices available for the nearby corporate guys.

Cakes n Chemistry, Mulund - Cool Place to Hangout - Restaurant Review

If I am allowed to say this.. Mulund has very less happening places to eat and hangout. Cakes n Chemistry is one of the few ones. I have stayed in Mulund for 25 years, the way this suburb has evolved is commendable. With Tea Villa Cafe and Cakes n Chemistry, it is surely transforming into a happening place. Cakes n Chemistry is a hidden cafe for youngsters in and around Mulund. Not just youngsters, even the 30s like me would enjoy.

Chocolate Fondue

Food - Innovative Desserts

It has some finger-licking menu to make you drool. Some cool Pastas, Burgers and French Rolls. Desserts are not to be missed. I did just that. Didn’t miss the dessert. I pounced on the Chocolate Fondue. The candle, liquid chocolate, little hearts to dip, wafer stick to swipe, oreo biscuits divided into 2 to dunk and of course small pieces of cake to prick and eat. What else can you ask for in a Fondue. But for a chocolate lover like me, who prefers the real taste of the chocolate plus some sweetness, the Fondue was way too sweet. With the props surrounding the fondue waiting to be dunked, it turned to be sweeter. So after few dips and dunks, I was put off the dessert all together. But to try some uniqueness in their food and approach, you got to taste some more delicacies that they serve.

The seating area is sadly hidden in the upper floor. Someone passing by from outside the cafe wouldn’t even know that upper floor exists. The main store display an array of cakes making the place look more like a Monginis and Brownie Point. But Cakes n Chemistry is hell more than them. Interiors and Music both contribute to an awesome experience for the foodie. Shape of You, Wine Slow were some of the tracks that were played. The couch for a bunch of friends or even lovers is a good section at the small cafe to relax. Currently accommodating 6 to 7 tables, this place might soon need a bigger space soon as it’s popularity grows. 

A good place to visit with best buddies for cool hangout and good food.

Stacks And Racks - The Hidden Gem of Malad - Restaurant Review

An American Restaurant in Malad, Mumbai, Stacks And Racks is a hidden gem in the area. With a unique setup inside the restaurant, Stacks And Racks aces in many aspects.

The Food we gulped

Chicken, Fish, Pork, Egg, Veggies, the menu comprises of all of them. Many dishes were rum infused or beer battered. Strangely only the food had liquor. The restaurant doesn't serve liquor separately. We ordered Nachos, Lasagne, Burger, Chocolate milkshake and Cheese cake. All of them won our hearts.

The Nachos is loaded with Chicken, Cheddar Cheese, Jack Cheese, Black Bean Paste and Salsa. An awesome combination I have ever had, yes the best nachos I have ever had.

The Chicken Lasagne was covered with Sauce and Cheese Sandwiched between sheets of Pasta. We dived into it as soon as it arrived, that is just after taking pictures.

After having these, we were almost full, except for a little space for some more hogging. So we grabbed the Nemo Burger. After 2 dishes of chicken, fish couldn’t be missed. This one was beer battered, my personal favorite. Divided into halves, we gulped down the burger in no time.

Chocolate milkshake in a mini plump bottle with visible chocolate sauce around was cold and refreshing. Ann’s Philadelphia cheesecake with Blueberry dripping across the corner is definitely the best one to sum up our meal. Even with a full tummy, we could gulp the bites easily sliding down from our tongue to our stomach.

The Interiors we see

Uniquely setup interiors with pictures of American fellows hanging on the walls. Pincodes of areas along with their names. Stacks and Racks painted on brick style wall. Entrance of the restaurant showcased how you should not miss the burgers of this place.

Ambience and music

The flat screen television displayed some reality show with no audio. Music played on the speakers by Bieber, Enrique and more. At times, it looked like weird combination of music being played and the reality show singer singing on the television. May be a repeat telecast of a football match would have worked better!

Our visit during the early afternoon of a Wednesday, didn't witness lot of hoggers. Few tables were occupied by couples and solo eaters.

Surely a must visit American Restaurant. You will fall for the Foooood :)
